Job Brief
Future Cities for Engineering Consultations (FCEC) is seeking a Logistics Support professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience. As part of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in coordinating transportation, supporting inventory management, assisting with warehouse operations, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Saudi nationals are preferred for this position.
Responsibilities
- Car Rentals Coordination: Manage car rental arrangements for company needs, coordinating with rental agencies and ensuring optimal use of vehicles.
- Health Insurance Management: Oversee and manage health insurance-related matters of the company.
- Transportation Coordination: Coordinate transportation for inbound and outbound shipments, liaising with providers, freight forwarders, and carriers to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
- Inventory Management Support: Assist with inventory control, including receiving, storing, and tracking inventory levels. Conduct regular counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Company’s Operations Assistance: Support company’s operations, including loading and unloading goods, packing, and labeling. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate with internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities. Respond to inquiries and provide updates on shipment status and delivery schedules.
- Problem Resolution: Assist in resolving logistics-related issues, including delays, damages, and discrepancies in shipments. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations.
Skills
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software is a plus.
