Transport and Traffic Safety Engineer

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with at least 8 years of experience in the field of transport and traffic safety.

• Full proficiency in road design, preparation of plans, and working with AutoCAD CIVIL 3D.

• Proficiency in traffic analysis and modeling using computer tools and software.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the equipment and tools used on roads and required traffic safety measures.

• Study and assist in developing traffic safety conditions on roads.

• Review proposed requests for road traffic diversions submitted by contractors and evaluate the situation of diversions during ongoing works.

• Evaluate hazardous work environments to apply rules and procedures.

• Prepare periodic reports on contractors’ performance, highlighting points that need adjustment for safety.

• Proficiency in engineering programs (NEMA, MUTCD, AASHTO). .

• Holder of a course in Road Foundations and Safety. .

• اجادة تامة لتصميم الطرق وإعداد المخططات والعمل على برامج ال AutoCAD CIVIL 3D

• اجادة التحليل المروري ونمذجته باستخدام الأدوات والبرامج الحاسوبية

• دراية تامة بالأجهزة والمعدات المستخدمة بالطرق ووسائل السلامة المرورية المطلوبة

• دراسة حالة السلامة المرورية على الطرق والمساعدة في تطويرها.

• مراجعة الطلبات المقترحة لأعمال التحويلات المرورية للطرق المقدمة من قبل المقاولين وتقييم وضع التحويلات على الطرق أثناء سير الأعمال.

• تقييم بيئة العمل الخطيرة لغرض تطبيق القواعد والإجراءات

• عمل التقارير الدورية حول أداء المقاولين وإيضاح النقاط الواجب والمطلوب تعديلها من أجل السلامة

• اجادة للبرامج الهندسية (NEMA. • MUTCD. • AASHTO)

• حاصل على دورة أسس وسلامة الطرق.
