Civil Engineer (Roads Supervision)
Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with extensive experience in Roads Supervision projects. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience in road supervision, with a strong technical background in road design, construction methodologies, and infrastructure development.
Responsibilities
- Road Supervision and Project Planning: Develop comprehensive plans and supervise road construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Site Analysis and Feasibility: Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental assessments to determine project requirements.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with surveyors, contractors, and government agencies to ensure effective project execution.
- Construction Oversight: Monitor construction progress, perform site inspections, and address any design or structural issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns.
- Safety and Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and evaluations, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in road supervision, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
