Detailed Design of the Treated Wastewater Distribution Network for the “Green Riyadh” Project

Contributing to one of the Kingdom’s flagship environmental initiatives, Future Cities for Engineering Consultations (FCEC) was engaged by Planet Consulting Services Company as a Subcontractor to deliver the detailed design of the treated wastewater distribution network supporting the “Green Riyadh” project. The 12-month assignment, which commenced in September 2021, formed a critical technical component of the wider program aimed at expanding the capital’s green cover through sustainable irrigation infrastructure.

FCEC’s scope covered the full detailed design of the treated sewage effluent (TSE) distribution network, including hydraulic modeling, pipeline routing, and the integration of irrigation infrastructure tailored to the project’s landscaping and sustainability targets. The project was successfully completed at 100%, reflecting FCEC’s technical strength in large-scale infrastructure and irrigation network design in support of Saudi Arabia’s environmental and Vision 2030 goals.
